Aims and Scope

Iranian Journal of Astronomy and Astrophysics (IJAA) is a peer-reviewed, international journal dedicated to publishing high-quality original research papers, comprehensive review articles, and short communications in the fields of astronomy and astrophysics. IJAA emphasizes interdisciplinary approaches, focusing on the broad applications of these sciences.

 

Objectives:

  • Dissemination of Knowledge: IJAA aims to spread cutting-edge research findings and provide a learned reference in the field.
  • Interdisciplinary Forum: It serves as a platform to establish communication channels between academic and research experts, fostering collaboration and innovation.
  • Original Contributions: Papers must present original research not previously published or under consideration elsewhere. Conference papers abstracted in proceedings are also welcome.

Publication Details:

  • Peer Review: All submissions undergo rigorous peer review to ensure the publication of impactful research.
  • No Page Charges: Except for color figures, there are no charges for publishing.
  • Global Contributions: Researchers from all nationalities are invited to contribute.
  • Frequency: Two issues are published annually.
  • Indexing: All articles are indexed and abstracted in the Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC) from the first volume.
